Having motm, Stooge and Schaeffer panels, maybe I can offer the essential
differences, and others can add/correct me. Schaeffer panels compared to
motm/Stooge panels:
(1) do not have the paint texturing.
(2) are somewhat less reflective in appearance.
(3) do not have panel edges painted.

However, by using Schaeffer's front panel designer program, you can create
your own designs, with your own layouts (e.g., pot, jack locations),
colors (panels and engravings), fonts and some other characteristics.
Also, Schaeffer drills all of the holes, which I think the Stooges will
not support after the current run of Stooge panels. They produce very
nice panels exactly as you have specified in front panel designer (having
made a few minor mistakes, I know this).

I like the ability to design my own panels (as at least several others do
on this group), especially since I have limited module space. I get some
nice personal satisfaction seeing and using a panel I designed and like
sitting in my modular.

Hope this helps a bit, Jeff
