Quick Edit Quest. w/ New OS.

Quick Edit Quest. w/ New OS.

2001-12-10 by tommy_trance

Working with the new O.S (1.17) I can't understand why is it that
when I am tweeking quick edit parameters on track 1 with (XL-7
Preset Pad: Cryo Stasus) I am also simutaneously tweeking track 2
which I also have as XL-7 Preset Pad: Cryo Status. I thought that
whatever track is displayed in the LCD is the one you are allowed to
tweek if set to channel basic. Is it cuz they are the same presets
even though they have different channels designated?

I really like the cut track/measure feature in the new OS. It saves
me so much trouble.

I guess tweeking a preset in a particular track also changes the
parameter of the other track if it has the same preset name. Duh.!

Try saving that patch in a user location and name them 1 and 2. Once
you edit a patch, it edits the patch no matter what channel you are
on. So if you have different names assigned to each one, it will
pick the current one and won't effect the one you have on channel
(track 2).
