Reason or rackmount?

Really like the new KS boards by novation, but price is out of question, also like the micro korg sounds but really don't need the keys, so wondering if Reason might be the ticket. >>>Well, the KS keyboards are really nice, I was looking at one of those when I got my Virus KC. Novation definitely makes some good stuff. However, if you're just after that sound, you have two other options to consider. - Get a K-Station, these are going pretty cheap now, and they use the same sound engine as the KS boards. My girlfriend has one, and I definitely would recommend it to anyone wanting to get a VA on a budget. - Get the new V-Station VSTi. Again, same sound engine as the rest of the K series, but it's software so it's quiet a bit cheaper. I use this one more and more lately, very nice sound. I don't really recommend the MicroKorg though, it sounds ok, but it's not so much fun to program and it feels really cheap. <<< For you experienced Reason users, are there pretty decent euro trance type leads there? Or possible to make those patches? >>>Tons of these mate, Reason has a lot of trance sounds, and it's more than easy to make your own too. Plus, a lot of sample CD companies are releasing Refills, which is the native file format Reason uses. <<< Should i download a demo? Or would it not be sufficient to really get a feel for it?
