2 new-user questions

2003-06-26 by Brian

I recently bought my XL-7, and just upgraded it to OS 2.0, and I had
2 questions.

The internal sequences were screwed up when I bought it, so I
replaced everything with factory patterns and songs (via E-Loader).
Before I did that, I initialized the unit and ran it through a self-
test. In doing so, I noticed the main ROM was in slot 4, not slot 1.
Is that normal, and if not, will it cause me any problem? (Upon
opening the unit, I found it's closest to the side of the unit).

Also, my checksum for OS 2.0 is ABA794C2. Is that correct? The E-
Loader manual claimed that number would be in the release notes for
me to compare to, but there were no release notes with my OS upgrade.

Thanks,
Brian

I can confirm after upgrading mine to 2.0 that I also got the same checksum and everything is working fine.
