Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi and thanks for all your help past, present and future :)

I just purchased a EMU PK6 SYNTH and it did not come with any sound 
roms, even the original was removed . How can i get the original 
presets and demos back in there? Can i download them or do i have to 
buy the original sound rom.......WHAT SOUND ROM WOULD I BUY THAT IS 
THE ORIGINAL ONE FOR IT?? It looks like according to EMU's site, it 
is a PROTEUS rom, but they list two different ones? I would like to 
get the synth back to its original state. I DID INSTALL A BEAT 
GARDEN AND PROTOZOA SOUND MODULE IN IT AND THEY SEEM TO WORK OK BUT 
HOW CAN I GET THE ORIGINALS. It is very frustrating to scroll 
through the sounds to play one and find out nothing is there cause i 
assume it was on the orinal rom which was included with the 
PK6....thanks again and have a great day

Where did you buy it from that the original PROM (Proteus POP ROM) 
was removed?  That seems a little odd.

The link above is to the ROM that was supposed to be in your 
keyboard.  You should not have to buy this unless you purchased your 
PK-6 second hand as is.  What is the deal?

This unit was purchased from an individual who removed and kept the 
original card>........
