More woes with E-Loader

More woes with E-Loader

Anyone been able to get E-Loader to install on Windows XP Pro?

Mine fails completely with no message, no warning, no alert. Just
takes a dump silently.

E-Loader has not been officially tested with Windows XP. I'll have to get
that pushed up in the schedule. I guess I was fantasizing thinking it was
going to act the same as Win 2000. :-(

Are you saying the installer fails, or is it E-Loader itself failing after
installation?

Didn't you post once before about problems installing with Windows XP, but
then say you resolved your issue by removing some 'developer' Java VM that
you were running?

It is the same behaviour I had with Windows ME with my developer java
installed. But that package is not on this machine...

UGH

This is the JDK that was downloaded from the sun website. No mods or
special bits.

I have installed E-Loader on Win XP Home version. I used the latest
Microsoft VM (3802 I think, downloaded from their website). Works
fine for me.
