another way is to send a "reset all" or "all notes off" midi message.
if you sync it from the external, with a software seq for example, you can do it.
if you can't then you have to reboot.

  Subject: [xl7] stuck notes!

I searched the archive but I couldn't find anything on this (or I
didn't look correctly). I have noticed a couple of times now that my
XL7, while just playing a pattern, and not doing anything at all out
of the ordinary, will just lock up and give me this hideous buzz,
although I should say the drums still seem to run, so maybe its just
the synth sounds. Switching patterns doesn't help, I have to power
down to get it to stop.
Any help GREATLY appreciated on this one.
  Dana

Press MIDI + Enter to send a midi panic message (all notes off).

OK, thats a quick and easy way that I didn't know about. Can I assume
this is nothing all that unusual for these beasts?
Thx!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
