Has anyone tried the Karma/Triton Le against the Command Stations?

Has anyone tried the Karma/Triton Le against the Command Stations?

Other than having a bigger display, is the sequencer pretty much the
same? Also, If I have controllers already will I'd be better of
getting a XL/mp-7 with some expansion rom instead of the Karma/triton
le in terms of sounds? It'll be nice be nice to just take one things
to gigs, but there has to be some trade offs...

thanks.

Thanks! I take from your answer that you like the Karma's sequencer
better, right? I went to a music store and tried the triton Le and
didn't like the sounds for what I want to do... They didn't have the
Karma, though. What I did try and was very impressed with was the MC-
909. VERY, intuitive! I found my way around most function in a matter
of minutes, the onboard sounds where good but sounded like somebody
rolled off some of the hi freq. I heard something about it having a
32hz convertors or somthing... that might be why? Other than, really
nice...ALso my friend offer to sell me his RM1x fairly cheap, but
after playing with it in the store, I'm not sure that it's bigger
screen makes it more accessible that the command stations...

Now I only need to figure out if can live with the XL-7 downloading
smf files from the computer or if the big mc-909 screen is going to
make my live a lot easier and it turns out to be I'm willing to sell
a kidney to get it after all... ;)
