Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Ok someone, how?  This would be very useful.  I'm sure there's other 
goodies there for us geeks too...

Boot into diagnostics (someone else will tell you how)

Try this:
Press and HOLD the 2 cursor/arrow keys under the data wheel WHILE 
POWERING UP. Thats it,keep holding;)

When the LCD goes to Diagnostic mode, spin the wheel to Init user 
data, as Aaron mentioned.
