roland 808+mp-7but eloader problem

any1 tried to update sp808 os to ex ver. thru the mp7(load os file that's mid file to the mp-7 thru eloader and smf to update).....? my e loader cant read mid file that contains OS..some peeps did it iwht r1mx.. how come i cant do it with mp-7..? why my eloader cant read MID file..? it said it is not vaild file or something... plz help... plz help..
