I just had to forward this to those that aren't on IBGeek - This is a
great way
to simulate an analog synth method with a sampler

--- From Aeon ---
a good way to get PWM with static sampled waves is to sum a saw and an
inverted
detuned copy of itself...change the detune and you will change the PWM
rate.

This is actually one of the reasons I was disappointed to hear that
the XL-7 could not reverse samples (reverse a single-cycle saw and
you get an inverted saw). The Morpheus has at least one sawtooth
waveform that happens to be inverted (though it's not needed b/c the
Morpheus can reverse samples), so I'm hoping the XL-7 will have one
as well - since it can't do real PWM this makes for a passable
imitation useful for pads. Anyone know?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
