it changed all the songs ALL INCLUDING THE EMU presets ..the patterns 
remained but the presets were all changed ..

you reloaded the pattern, did you try doing a revert to saved for that

1)can e-loader save all the patterns in  one shot  ?

>>>Yes, just highlight all of the Patterns you wish to save, and then it 
will let you pick the folder to save them too.  You cannot save them as 
one file though, it will save them all individually. <<<

2) what information is saved on the e-loader files ?

pattern setup; effects types and send amounts, preset assigments, pattern 
name, length, track/channel assignments, etc. <<<

3)how to i prevent this from happenning in the future ?
