e-loader

e-loader

2003-04-30 by honkeyhindu

mad mad mad ..ok last night i used the e-loader to back up my data. I
found out that i had messed around with one of my patterns a little
too much ...no prb right
just go to the e-loader and load up the patternt into the appropriate
bank and i can start again ..OOOH no ..NNANANAN ...first of all i
must say that i have had no prb in doing this b4 ..but this time
BAAAMNN ..it changed all the songs ALL INCLUDING THE EMU
presets ..the patterns remained but the presets were all changed ..
oh well

a couple of questions here

1)can e-loader save all the patterns in one shot ?

on my win98se system and win xp system it seems that i cannot
if in select all it does not give me the option to save all to one
file .

2) what information is saved on the e-loader files ?

3)how to i prevent this from happenning in the future ?

just incase this pervents anyone from using the e-loader or makes
them think twice ..in still belive that it is a very usefull tool ..
..dont have an idea of a song or need some inspiration thru a wacky
sound ..go to any midi program ..fruity loops whatever set up 2 or 3
midi chs ..and if you dont feel like thinking ..close your eyes and
click away ..load it ..you never know what you might come up
with ..it works better when you choose 2 or 3 sound that kind of
blend together ..
