New Editor for Proteus

New Editor for Proteus

2003-04-20 by teched53

There is guy in the P2K message group promoting a new editor for the
Proteus family modules. I downloaded it, but have not tried it.
There is a 90 hour trial period. I am just passing along a message.

     Teched53

       Here it is

Hi
We finally finished our patch editor for the P2K (should work on
other P1K/P2K variants as well as long as the OS is fairly recent).
The software is designed for Windows operating systems and is
available on a "Try and Buy" basis. For anyone interested, I have

placed the download on:

http://www.saxonite.co.uk/proteum/proteum.stm

What are they thinking? It doesn't even include a librarian - this is
pretty much just a new UI for the front panel.

If you have a P2k, just buy Sounddiver, or midiquest.

Come to think of it, let's all lobby midiquest to add XX-7 support.
It's a clunky program (though my copy is rather out of date - maybe I
should withhold that statement until I've seen what they've done
lately, and whether it's worth upgrading..). But it does what it says
it will. You could even do the 'rom id' replace trick with it - for the
first set of Audity programs at least (fraid I haven't gotten round to
that yet - sorry. Please stand by, if you're waiting...)

Does it offer library functions, or just Preset editing?
