How about a volume control for the metronome.  That sucker gets a
little loud sometimes.

Scratch that metronome volume control request.  I had my ears tested -
it is a personal problem.  

You guys may want to consider getting a good set of mucisians ear
plugs - they are relatively cheap.  Think of them as volume controls
for your ears.  Once your ears are damaged by extreme noise (Tinnitus)
there is no drug to cure it.  You would be surprised who they let
control the sound system at some of these parties.  It doesn't take
that long of an exposure to get permanent damage.  I hope most of you
are smarter than me and have plugs already.  If not here is web site
for more information.  If you get good ear plugs they won't interfere
with the quality of the sound as much.
