Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hehe, yeah I tried it the other day and it gave me the "Compaction Not 
Needed" message as usual.  Ten minutes later the box locked up and started 
the compaction process (after I tried to save my pattern of course). Doh!

Ummm, so what's this feature for again?  :)

I tried "compact now" for first time last night. Apparently didn't need it yet. However, I went to bed after that. We'll see what happens soon enough.

The key word here was "repeatedly" when it doesn't need it.  =)
