Well, *my* OS crash'n'burn bug is still there...

...the one where you activate grid-record, add some notes, go into the
note editor, put the cursor onto a note, and then delete all the notes
using the buttons... kaboomskovitch.

I know, I know... I just want my name on the first confirmed bug in
2.0. Since it was in 1.32, perhaps I'm cheating.

Heh, I spent a whole week trying get my grandly designed solution to
work, but to no avail. I was going to go back and patch that specific
case, but it did seem rather esoteric so I didn't get around to it...

Yep.  Definitely cheating!  =)

But yes, confirmed bug that if you delete the note you're looking at in
list edit with the grid editor, then try to increment to the next note,
it will crash.

The most appropriate solution is probably the Harry Enfield one: any
attempt to delete the displayed note should put a message onto the
LCD: "Oy, Rothwell: NO!"

Ah, linked lists. They'll always get you in the end.

So no one has tried to perform compaction repeatedly yet?

Actually, Red-Black trees. They'll get you in the end, left, and
right.
