rEalm XL-7 Jam

2003-04-09 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Hey all,

Had a bit of fun last night just messing around with the new features in
OS2.0, and recorded the results if anyone wants to take a listen. Just me
playing about with some downtempo stuff, nothing too fancy or planned out
:) I only encoded about 20 minutes of it, but you can hear it at:

http://rEalm.iuma.com "rEalm Live XL-7 Downtempo Jam"

Used X-MIX and some other stuff, and the last 6 minutes is made from all
sort of sources. Used about 3 patterns, my custom 'rps style' triggers,
etc. Fun stuff, enjoy!

Thanx! This is a last minute example of an hour long downtempo "Live PA"
I'm putting together at the moment. It'll be recorded and available on CD
once I'm done, hopefully not much longer now...

hello rEalm

>>>Hello Alexander. <<<

sounds very cool

>>>Thank you. <<<

are all sounds from the xl7 ?

>>>Yep, that's just the XL-7 with a P2500 Rom, nothing more. All of it
was just me performing some of my Patterns on a whim, so the timing is bit
off here and there (had nothing to do with the beer, I assure you). When
I set out to do it properly, it will sound much better hopefully! :) <<<

there are some roaring sounds, that i like very much.

>>>Thanx, I can probably pass on some of those to the list in the future.
I'd offer to do it now, but I think some of my presets use sounds from
both the XL-7 and P2500 ROMs. I need to see which do first. Thanx again
for listening! <<<
