Patchord & Filters

Patchord & Filters

2003-04-09 by buju_be

Hi list,
I'm new on patches programming,
i've firstly done few things on presets patches, and layering to get
the drum kit i wanted, but now i try to understand how all the
programming stuff  works,

be sure i've read the manual :-D , i've understood little things on
patchcords, but one: there are layers patchcords like 'dontno1' -
> 'dontno2' +00, which for me does mean that 'dontno1' dont make a
thing on 'dontno2', but if remove this line, the sound change
radiccaly in a way i can understand/figure,

hum, i wonder what this q and frequency values, because when i make
changes, nothing seems to happen,

that's it,
if someone can help me..

i´m not really shure but is it something like

Patchcord 10 :	Vel< 	->	AmpVol		+ 000
Patchcord 11 :	MidiI 	->	 C10Amt 		+ 080

This means, that the MidiI Knob sets the amount of Patchcord 10. If you
turn up the MidiI knob you achieve the same result as setting the
Amount in Patchcord 10 from 000 to 080

it is not really the order. you just have to look if there are any
patchcord that modulate another one. the "CxxAmt" as a destination says
it modulates patchcord  nr. xx

on the example i´ve given it was patchcord 11 that modulated patchcord
10 via the C10Amt parameter.
