Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello all,
    I know the xl-7 can trigger in its own bts riffs but i was
wondering if it would be possible to trigger in my own patterns from
another midi sorce. For example i want to be able to trigger in my own
patterns from a drum processor. I would rather do this than have the
whole song play out and follow it. I would like some control on when
certain patterns are being played. Basicly a midi sequencer with RPS.

Right now this is not possible. 

Perhaps OS 2 might change something. I would
appreciate the possibilty to change patterns via midi
notes. 
At least it allows you to use the trigger buttons to
select a pattern. 

btw. OS 2 ..... this reminds me of something .....
