I havent seen anything on this, and I dont even know if its possible. I have a E5000ultra and it has tools/effects like compressor, parametric eq, and Aphex Aural Exciter. I just think it would be great to have an on-board compressor.

That my friend, wins the prive for understatement of the year! I doubt we'll see this in the XX-7's, the hardware's just not there for it. If you need one, I recommend the Alesis Nanocompressor. Same electronics as the 3630, but in smaller package so it's good for live use too. I just ordered one myself to use with the XL-7, should be a good companion. rEalm I just think it would be great to have an on-board compressor. Don't like to be the thorn in anones side but I have owned the nano comp for a few years now and just don't like it much at all. It can handle simple tasks but I would use it lightly unless you are using it more as an FX kinda thing. My main complaint is it's tendency to pump alot. Just another opinion. But i will say for the price I don't think you can beat it. Mike G. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, erik_magrini@B... wrote: > That my friend, wins the prive for understatement of the year! Thanx for the heads up, I'm mainly using it to help boost the signal just
a bit, and as a peak limiter live. And yeah, for $50, hard to beat for
the money!
