Tap Combo's

Tap Combo's

2003-03-31 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Ummm... yeah... one step ahead of you... where we going again? :)

Actually I don't think the new Tap combo's are that hard to remember in
use, so I probably won't be making any stickers to put on my box.
Interesting idea for PX-7 though, they should silkscreen those in
different colors or something on the panel. (hint hint Emu).

I noticed that there's a lot of additinal short-cuts in V2.0 - I think it
would be a good idea to print out some stickers to go under the "tap'd"
keys
so I know what the hell's going on...

I'm sure ReAlm is one step ahead of us...

Definitely do able. You could even take it to a glass store and get it
etched into a sheet of 1/16th plexiglass if you wanted something a little
more durable and nicer looking than cardboard. As long as you give them a
template, it's not too expensive to do this. I had something similar done
back when I used to compete in car audio contests, it was cheaper than I
thought it would be.

Or we could make a thin cardboard cuttout to drop over the whole thing,
word
template style.

Let me see what I can do.... The template isn't actually mine, it's the
printers, but I think I snagged a copy on my way out.

You still have the silkscreen template for the XL7 right? Could you take
an
overhead picture of it scanned at a higher resolution and post it? That
way we
could get it scaled and use that for the base for the etching. Either
that or
one of the pictures of your case off (no knobs or anything) :)
