First off, I'm gonna hafta say that the manual is very VERY usefull.
I've read it cover-to-cover at least twice and it's a great source of
info. Download the new manual from emu.com... It's got all the new
features of 1.32 that aren't in the printed version.

Hold down the erase button and hit whichever track you wanna delete.

No good way to do this besides using the extend duration function
within the pattern-edit screens. Unfortunately this will effect your
entire track. Alternate method is to just go into the note editor
and increase the duration manually.

thanks for the help,

i have the manual and could'nt find. Im looking for undo or deleting
a track in the glossery. they are just calling it something else.

By the way is there anyway to totally DELETE data from the track ??
I erase and the note and it is still lit up like there is data on the
track.

Hold down ERASE, then press the Track MUTE button for the Track you want
to erase. Alternately, you cold enter the Pattern Edit menu, scroll ahrd
to the right, and select Revert To Saved Pattern.

Press the knob select button until the display says GATE instead of VEL,
you can now use the knobs to control gate time for each step.

At least, this is what you would do if you were using OS 2.0, which you're
not, so you'll have to enter the Note List Editor in Pattern Edit and
chnge the note manually :)

that sounds interesting. does this also mean you can use the knobs to
adjust the velocity for each step ?

btw. aaron the release candidate would be perfect to help us learn the
new os , while we are waiting for the final one ;-)
or perhaps you can give us the new manual or faq.

alexander (who just can“t wait for the new os ...)

Ah ha , Ok, So let me see if I understand... I will set the gate res
to 1/16th , then If i make the gate percent 400% it will hold for 4
notes. Can I do that , 400%? ,will it go that high?? or would I have
to set the res to 1/4 and hold for 100% for a 4 note hold??
