The manual sucks, you can be honest ;) Well, maybe it doesn't suck
(Access owns that right), but it's not the best.

No, you could connect a midi cable from the MP-7's MIDI out A, to the
MP-7's MIDI in. The just hit record on the MP-7's sequencer and play
your
Preset with the riff you want. If the timings a bit off, you could use
quantize to clean it up.

So are you saying that I can do it within the MP7 internal sequencer or
are are you referring to an external sequencer. I have it attached to a
TS10 Ensoniq keyboard with cables running both ways Midi out to Midi in
ans vice versa.

Thanks for the quick reply I appreciate it.

Hi all I'm new to the group and new to the MP-7 so be gentle with me. I
have a question. Is there anyway to get the riff from the preset
audition into a pattern.

Re: [xl7] manual

2003-02-27 by kacy.rayburn@kmzr.com

Actually Roland's manual suck even harder. I got their digital mixer and
manual is damn near 20 pages long, saying absolutely nothing, but then they
turn around and release a videotape and charge $9.99 to $19.99, to explain
the same damn thing they could said in the manual.

Sorry about that, there are times I dread open-ended manuals

Re: [xl7] manual

2003-02-27 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Yeah, bad manuals are the worst. Akai and Mackie get my vote for the best
manuals, Korg isn't too bad either. EMu's XX-7 manual isn't terribly bad,
but a lot of the info is releated, and spread out through the whole thing.
Hard to find stuff sometimes, even for me.

Re: [xl7] manual

2003-02-27 by Ravi Sharma

The Korg Wavestation SR is the best manual I have ever read. The Yamaha FS1R
is the worst ever, with close second worst as tie between Ensoniq Fizmo and
Yamaha A5000 and Kawai K5000.

Re: [xl7] manual
