Why the XX-7 is worthless piece of crap.

Why the XX-7 is worthless piece of crap.

Now I'm mad!!!!!!

I got my first XL-7 when theese machines was new. After some months,
the data wheel began to act weird and generate strange data.

I sent the XL-7 back, and got a new one. After some more months, it's
data wheel becan to act just like the last one. Then some buttons got
worse. And NOW, when I got home after the weekend, the sound output,
was REVERSED!! The reverb was panned somewhat to the left. And no,
it's not my headphones. It's the XL-7! This happends with ALL
outputs, both the headphone and the other outputs.

No one else have ever touched my synth while I was gone, and I've
done no change to the synth configuration, or repleaced any audio
cables or ANYTHING. It's exactly the same as when I left it before
the weekend. Nothing I done could have caused this problem, because I
did absolutly NOTHING.

Okey, I know theese synths is based on low-quality components which
sooner or (in case you're really lucky) later stops to work, but THIS
SORT OF THINGS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEND WITH A SYNTHESIZER!

Not to mention the bugs in the OS.

I've had nothing else than trouble since I bought the XL-7.

Also, keep in mind that I'm really careful about my music equipment.
I do nothing which can damage it. This is not my fault.

Never mind my stupid post: Why the XX-7 is worthless piece of crap.

Never mind that stupid post. I confused this with another unexpected
problem in my home studio. It's not the XL-7 which causes problem
this time.

About the weird buttons and data wheels, perhaps I'm just unlucky to
get two XL-7's which doesn't work well. I guess I should concider
sending the XL-7 back again to get it repaired.

My dissapointment will still be the bugs. But I hope to get them
fixed now when a new OS release is on it's way.

Before replying and flaming me for my first post, first keep in mind
that:

I'm sorry! Really. I was just mad when I wrote the post, because I
hate problems with my music equipment.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
