Absolutely, positively. i owned a MPC3000, and sold it becauce I wasn't using
the rest of its features besides the sequencer. The Mp-7 does the same and
more. ..oh wait..Much much more.

Except sample, right? The MP/XL does not sample. I wish it did though.

This is true. The MP7 does not sample. However you should take a look at it's
impressive features.

Even though it does not sample, I plan on picking mine up tomorrow, that is
if FedEx delivers it to my local ProAudio shop. I got mine for $650, and
can't really wait to get it. I wonder if anyone knows how difficult it is
to record with the MP/XL compared to the MC-909. My buddy returned the 909
because he got frustrated with the support and documents being to vague. I
did however talk him into a Korg Triton Studio, and man is that thing
PHAT!!! And all that. I want one as well to compliment my MP7.

Can't to have the purple box in my hands.

Well,

Bad newz.(8o(

The MP7 had not got in yet, and looks real sketchy that it even gets here
before my b-day which is Sunday. So I must vent right, now, and I am real
p.o..

This thing better be worth the wait. Will someone tell me how wonderful the
MP7 is..

Awwww yeaaaa.! Got the MP-7 today!!! Ooohweee.! I can't believe how much I
was able to accomplish in just a couple of hours. Bring in a midi file, and
modify it right off the bat, without really cracking open the book.
E-loader ain't too bad, and the sequencer was pretty cool to figure out. I
just hope that short term memory does not get the best of me. But dang it
was about time them sucka's from Ups or E-mu to bing da noize.. I can't
believe it took them a while.

Anyways, peace out.
