New song and how to setup an xl-7 with cubase sx?

arranged loops with my xl-7 and recorded them.. some effects.. and rearranged in ableton here is the link:

only the athmospehre and the strange acidline is from the original song "Acid Rock 2003"


and now to the real problem :-)
how do I setup my xl7 with cubase? I want that midi 2 is going to track 2 ,midi 3 to track 3 and so on....
also  need the midi out b for my virus...

but it doesn´t semm to work.. may be I´m a really newbie with connecting my xl-7 with cubase... 

can somebody give me please some tricks???

Open the Inspector in the Project View, and then set each MIDI track to 
the channel you want.  Also, make sure you have the right midi ports 
selected for each track (hold CTRL while selecting then in one track and 
they'll be applied to all midi tracks BTW).  Then you NEED to have the 
little monitor button (next to the record button) lit up, or else you 
won't hear anything.  That should be it.
