Well I am off to montreal today to do a live pa/dj set at a good 
sized rave.  Not shur why am am posting other than the fact that I 
am getting hype about it.  Can't wait to hear the XL7 kicking out 
the jams on another large PA to a room of dancing people.


well that is all just saying woo hoo I love my XL7.... well and my 
E5000.

Yeah, that deal in Racine really killed it for a lot of us in the area. We 
had a few bars we were using on the weekends for parties, once that 
happened, forget it! :(

Very hard, the rave scene here in chicago is all but dead.  New laws are
taking away all of the local nights I used to spin at too, hard to get
gigs anymore for electronic music.

what happened there?  death?   I find it annoying that music has gotten
lumped to give us musicians a hard time.   THese days if I see ppl using
that shit, I tell them to take it somewhere else before they ruin
everything.  It's no worse than a fucking pantara concert or something...

Local authorities busted a benefit party and fined everyone (bar owners, 
DJ's, promoters, regular party kids) there $994 each.  It was big news, 
I'll see if I can find an older link.

oh yeah i heard about htat.

a friend of mine just told me that they had to give everyone back their
money, and i guess there's a lawsuit against the city or somthing
