New OS suggestion

Hey, I have something that I would like to see added to the new OS. If it can already do this then ignore me, I haven't been playing with it enough. I think it would be really useful if you could jump the BPM drastically in addition to gradually. Kind of the same way you change patterns on the fly.... Let me clarify: When you change patterns, You scroll to the next one, press enter, and when it gets back to the beginning of the loop, it changes patterns. What I would like to see: have a loop going at 84bpm, scroll to 168bpm press enter and have it change the tempo instantly at the beginning of the following pattern. This would be very usefull for changing the tempo doubletime - from Hip-Hop speed to Drum & Bass speed etc....
