hi list,
this is my first post. I've got an XL-7.
I'm having trouble saving my channel assignment from the pattern menu.
I've set Channel:11A to Dest:ext. After I power down/up,
Channel:11A has reset to Dest:int. So I change it back, but
I don't see the asterix indicating I've changed the preset.
I do a Save Pattern anyway, and I do a Multisetup save for
good measure, but after I power down/up again, it has gone
back to Dest:int. I have OS 1.31.
Do I need to go to 1.32?
thanks,
-Les

You need to record data on a track for its settings to save with the
pattern. Record something on track 11, then save it.

(ever ruing the decision to allow patterns to have unused tracks...)

That did the trick, and now I remember having
read that before, but it didn't register until I came
across it.
Thanks Aaron!
