Emu has stated many times that the new OS was never intended to be done at
or around NAMM time. Yes, there are 4 XX-7's with alpha versions of the
new OS at NAMM, but trust me the coolest stuff that will be in OS2 isn't
even in those yet. Just wait, it WILL be worth it, lots of cool features
on the way. We're very lucky, if a bit impatient. :)

EMU is making joke out of us, where is the upgrade it is the last day
of NAMM and there is no news yet! all the big companies came out with
their announcements to stay in the head of the spot lights for
example see the extensive advertisement at Native Instruments, their
web site is full with the news, but EMU web site is the same no hints
no excitement. BORING why another customer will buy XL7 or MP7 :((
so my conclusion is that the upgrade will not be what we are
expecting from EMU.

Hey Realm, do you think they will have that option to reverse your
samples within the XX7's?

Re: [xl7] Re: EMU is making joke out of us,

I'm not sure, but I'd speculate that they won't. In fact if you take a
look at the archives, I think Aaron told us why that's not even possible
with the current sound engines. I think it has to do with the fact that
they wouldn't be able to do that and give us 128 voice poly too, though I
may be thinking of something else.

Still, I'm pretty sure there's some really neat stuff getting added,
so.... ;)
