are we allowed to have our friends at work vote for us? It seems like it
would defeat the purpose, but it's also not in the rules...

just wanted to check before I acted. =)

I would have to think of that as cheating. This contest
is supposed to be based on the content of the material,
not how many friends you can get to vote for you.

I would also (naturally) think, that since this contest was based on
the xx7 group, that it was an assumed thing that it would be voted on
by other members of the group, who we naturally would expect to also
be users of the xx7's...am I not correct? It's not about winning,
it's about people who understand the capabilities of the machine,
expressing there opinions about the ways that others have integrated
it's powers. Yes?

No, only people subscribed to the list should vote. I really hope no one
thinks there's ANY reason to cheat like that. You won't get anything for
all your misguided efforts :)

I couldn't have said it better! I hindsight, I wish I wouldn't have even
called it a contest...
