Baffled by a quantum quantize...

Baffled by a quantum quantize...

2003-01-08 by ByronIV

Anyone here ever have "issues" recording at different quantizations in the
song mode? I usually do on the fly pattern changing and what not on the xl
so far, but decided to try and actually record a song in the sequencer for a
change for the contest, and cant seem to get it's recording mode out of 1/8
quantization...is song mode some how tied to it's internal patterns
recording mode quantization? Because I'm actually setting the quantize IN
the song edit page to 16th's and 32nds, and its still recording in 8ths...is
this some sort of quantum track time loop I'm caught in? It may be that I'm
infinitely tired, and it's way past my bedtime, but everything still seems
to be in it's correct checksum...
oddness is all i have to say...

And that's why it's not changing. =) The song edit (or pattern edit,
for that matter) quantize is the OFFLINE quantize. INPUT quantize is
on the record paused page (abbreviated "Quan").
