some thing fo rhe new os

some thing fo rhe new os

2003-01-04 by mikexl7 <curiousproductions@rogers.com>

When I extend a pattern via the pattern edit menue or shorten a
pattern via the pattern display screen I have to wait for the
pattern to cycle through before it makes the change. This is kinda
anoying when using 32 bar patterns. If it could be done right away
as opposed to having to cycle through it would be much better.

I also find that 32 bars is some times not long enough for some of
the stuff i am wrighting. It can be aboying when playing in a long
solo or what ever to have to stop save the pattern. then save the
pattern to the new location change patterns and then delete the
played solo out of the track before i can continue playing it.

this also is the same thing when i am just wanting to have a pattern
run for a long time, say 3 min, and just use the controllers to
create my track. I relolze that this is where most people use song
mode but i am just kinda thinking why not in pattern mode?

just a thought

I wish they would do away with the "Song Mode" all together (or turn it
into a playlist feature) and just let all patterns be 999 measures! :)

Why not just keep it the way it is and lengthen the limit
of patterns?

Do you mean lengthen the pattern length, or let song mode use more
patterns?
