OS Feature Request (Custom Quantize Templates)

Hi, Although I mentioned this before I would like to reiterate the desire to see some kind of custom groove quantize in the xx-7's A "match" feature might be the easiest to implement. As an example Notator for the Atari had a method where by the "user" grooves were basically any track on any pattern you wanted (usually the last pattern, 99). You simply told it to use that particular track as the timing/velocity grid. So you could load up pattern 99 with 16 tracks consisting of the timing and velocity you wanted (for instance 16th notes with a certain swing and velocity ramp) and then you told the program to use those tracks as the templates. When you quantized there was a selection for "User 1" through "User 16". These "presets" took the timing/velocity from the tracks you defined earlier to quantize the current track. If something similar could be implemented into the xx-7's it would open up a lot of possibilites with getting the feel right. As it is now I have to import/export to and from Cubase. Considering that all my midi devices are conencted to the mp-7 and not my computer I don't have the ability to hear any changes as I do them, other than unhooking everything from that and then into the computer. Personally I would take this feature alone along with a few bug fixes and be happy for a long time. How do others feel about this? Jesse
