Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

hi fellows,

i'm an ex-xl7 user,i sold it just cuz its buggy and i just couldn't 
still upgrade the os v1.01,tho mr.sean is very kind and send me the 
new eprom even i don't need pay shipping for it.(thanks sean)
but my pc may have some problems i still couldn't get it right w/ e-
loader.
anyway,i sold it at $900,i lost $295.it's obvious i'm not so happy at 
that moment.i need to use a bug-less sequencer to do live but my 
command station has delay when switching patterns.my budget was tight 
so i had to sell it and buy something else instead to do my job.
now i know emu will cut the price at $999,i hope my dealer will offer 
a more generous price for me,then i can compensate that $295.
as a result,i still have to pay $1195 or more to buy another 
xl7,but,at this time,it's a new o.s. v1.17 w/ less bugs i hope.
QUESTIONS NOW:
1.can i buy 32mb flash rom at less $200 discount?
2.can the new o.s. v1.17 has the ability to upgrade future new o.s. 
thru usb port?
3.as i remember,the usb port of the xl7 is smaller,do i need a 
special cable to use it w/ my pc's normal usb port?
4.when will the new stock of xl7(w/new o.s. already installed,i fear 
upgrade process) arrive american dealers?
5.will emu consider to add realtime filter knobs tweaking(not note-on 
type) to xl7?next o.s. update??

The "Host" port on your XL-7 takes the same USB connection as a USB 
Zip drive, USB printer or most any other USB product. You can find 
cables at most any computer/electronics store, and even Walmat. 
Standard cables have one flat end (computer) and one rounded square 
type end as seen on your XL-7.
