sorry about the blank email..
i was recording a pattern right now and on one of the channels i cant get the 
sound to lower.. it goes up and down on its own.. how can i get the volume to 
stay put or just overwrite that track? thanks

sounds like you recorded some volume changes.  Go into patern = erase events
and erase those volume commands...

Use Erase CC#7 in the Pattern Edit menu.
