Feature Request

Feature Request

2002-12-12 by David DeciBel

Sometimes I wish song mode editing was more dynamic. A lot of times I'll be
editing and decide to change a pattern a little bit. But if it's a pattern
that is already looped quite a bit, and just want to create variation, i
need to copy it to a new pattern number. If I do this, then i have to
replace the pattern in the song, thus loosing all my preset track numbers
and things like that. it would be cool if you could switch patterns without
the hastle of having to figure out what tracks were on/off...

I know it sounds like a lot, but is it?

Also an adendum to what I was talking about before: Usually if i'm
copying/cutting/pasting a track, it's likely to be the track i'm currently
on (editing) - it would be cool if these functions defaulted to those
tracks...

See my first feature list for a kludge that would work for this. Basically
a shortcut for Revert To Saved.
