Chn/Pan settings driving me crazy

Chn/Pan settings driving me crazy

2002-12-12 by jesse_medway <medway808@hotmail.com>

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how I get my Chn/Pan settings
for each track on each separare pattern to stick?

For some reason if I set them the way I want they stay,
other times they go back to some other setting.

I notice that sometimes if I change them then hit stop 3 times
they go back. Are the channel/pan settings saved in
the track data for that sound?

What i dont understand is how I was able to make some
patterns save the change and others don't.

Right now I am only trying to get track 8 which is using
channel 8 to have the same settings over about 5-6 patterns.
I got all of them right except for two of them which keep
going back to these other settings.

Thanks,

Jesse

ok, after reading the previous message looks like
this is a bug. so is the fix to jsut keep trying
it over an over? do you actually need to hit save in
order to make the settings stick? because i have
had the settings retained even when i didnt hit save.
the light never flashes so i assumed you dont need to.

So far it seems the way around this is to keep setting
it to what i want and then saving. After about 3 times
it saves properly.

I saw in the manual how to overdub in song mode but I cant find how to do it
for a pattern. How do I perform this feature?

If you are trying to save those settings to a track with no other midi
data (note, cc, whatever) they will not save.

What are you trying to overdub? Quick Edits or Volume/Pan changes?

Just hit your Pattern Edit Button.
{Dial} to your Copy Section.
Copy the Track you want.

Don't forget to hit the [Home Enter] Button.

After That {Dial} To your past Section.
Past Track Where You Want it.
To a different track or to a difforent pattern.
