Outboard FX advice please....

Outboard FX advice please....

2002-12-02 by tokinhood

Hello,
I was curious to find out what outboard fx processors people are
using with their XL7 box. The choices are too many I know but
hoping you all can point out which ones sound good and fits snuggly
with the Sub outs. My price range is $700 and under.

Thanks

I am now using a Novation A-Station, along with a A4000 yamaha sampler and a
Roland XV-2020 module. The whole spectrum reprezent!

My MP7 outs are patched into Sonar, then every channel can use DXi plugins.
Unlimited FX :)
Drop that 7bills on a Layla I/O use your computer. Even if you don't want to
use an external sequencer, you can get programs that enable vst and dxi
effects on sound card ports..

I intend to route the outputs to a Lexicon MPX500 v2 and also a
Virus B. Still got to get insert cables though, and a cheap submixer
maybe. :)

I would definitely recommend any of the lower end Lexicon boxes (MPX100,
MPX200, MPX500), you can't go wrong with any of those.

I run my MP-7 through a KAOSS Pad 2. If you guys haven't had the chance to,
go play with one then ask Santa to throw one in your stocking (It should fit just
fine)
I also use a Line 6 POD as an effect send for distortion FX from my Mixer.
