Programming Pattern problem

Programming Pattern problem

2001-10-26 by ppc_@hotmail.com

Hello folks!
I've had the XL-7 for 1 week now and I'm just beginning to learn all
the features on this, dare I say it, awesome piece of equipment.

I was sitting last night trying to program a new pattern and noticed
that on some of the tracks there seemed to be an appregiator running.
For example, I want to add some drums on track 16. Holding down a pad
it sounds like the arp is running. As you can imagine this sounds
really weird, the arp. pattern was probably meant for a completely
different patch. I've deactivated the main appregiator and used the
cut function on the track, but the arp.pattern won't go away! What am
I doing wrong?

So far I'm extremely happy with the XL-7 (my first E-mu product btw).
Hopefully the coming OS upgrade(s) will make it even better.

/Jon

select the preset, push the PRESET-BUTTON next to the wheel in the upper
right corner... now you cann access to the command functions... number 15
(ARP/RIFF).. there you can switch the ARP on/off... try it.. maybe it
works...
