Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

i'm using this set up (MP7 v1.31) w/ Digital performer, everytime I 
play a pattern off the MP7 it crashes but only if hooked up to 
micro express. the system doesn't crash normally. Anybody have 
any ideas on what it could be?

Sounds like a MIDI loop.  Chances are your software sequencer has MIDI
Echo turned on.  Make sure that DP has this turned off if you're going
to be playing MIDI from the MP-7, or turn local off on the MP-7.

I tried both suggestions w/ no luck. everytime I try and record 
 beats the LCD just starts blinking and control is lost... need to 
reboot. If you have any other ideas please let me know... thanks
