XX-7 as a sound module question
2002-11-14 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com
You can do what you want with the Multisetups already. Assign your Presets to each channel, and then save the multisetup. When you want to load that 'bank' of Presets, just reload the multisetup. A multi will save everything a pattern will (EFX, pan, volume etc), but without the midi notes. rEalm Someone may have already said this but.... Does EMU have any plans to make it easier on those of us who use the XX-7 strictly as a sound module, never touching the sequencer. As it is now, I have to create patterns with a little bit of data on them so that I can save my presets where I want them. It would be really nice if there was a way to set it up like a bank on an E4 sampler - where you just choose the presets you want on each midi channel and save the bank....rather than dealing with the patterns. Sortof a bank mode or something. Also, while I have your attention, can I use the old 8 output expander in my E6400 with the RFX card or do I have to buy the new RFX output jammie? thanks for your time, rob - pH10 http://ph10.electropolis.com >We will be showing 2.0 os at winter NAMM (Mid January).
