We need some XX-7 topics, kinda quiet here again :) Anyone interested in doing a XX-7 contest for fun perhaps? We all do songs using only the XX-7's anonymously, and then vote on our favorite. Any takers? rEalm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

There is a groove sharing forum on E-MU's website:(link below and click on MP-7 groove sharing) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xl7/links As far as presets, you can download the Mo'Phatt presets for your user banks from E-MU's site as well:(link below) http://www.emu.com/products/mp7/downloads.html --- In xl7@y..., bougotop xavier <buju_be@y...> wrote:

Most likely they're not compatible. Each Sound Rom has it's own 'samples'
if you will, from which the Presets are created. So if you were to create
your own MP-7 Presets, someone with a XL-7 or P2500 wouldn't be able to
use them, since they wouldn't have the same base waveforms as you.
However, there's nothing to stop you from making or sharing Presets with
other MP-7 users. I don't know of any place that has any MP-7 Presets,
but you (or anyone) could certainly upload them to a MP-7 Preset folder in
the files section of this group. I'll even create a folder for you real
quick:

Correct Erik. Unless he were to get some expansion ROM's for his MP, the only presets and Grooves he could do would be for his MP-7 ROM. --- In xl7@y..., erik_magrini@B... wrote: > Most likely they're not compatible.
