Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I just purchased an MP-7 and need assistance grasping the whole
Effects setup.

I am wanting to beleive that I have the option to adjust the Effects A
& B's send level for each unique channel (like you do in MIX mode with
volume and Pan) but what I am finding is that I have to route each
channel to one of 4 predefined mix levels.

Is this correct?
