Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello! I'm trying to purchase the MP-7 real soon. I just wanted to know if the software is compatible with Windows XP and if I need a MIDI interface to connect the MP-7? Also I noticed that alot of the sounds in the MP-7 are quite dry sounding. I checked out the ROM of the World Expedition and they are just what I'm looking for. I just wished that some of the sounds would have been already preloaded in the MP-7 or came equipped with sounds that are similar.
