backup question

Hey everyone, I'm very interested in getting an xx-7 as a live sequencing solution, planning on mainly sequencing external gear. But I've read the manual and can't really find any reference to how patterns, songs, setups, presets, ect. can be backed up and restored to the xx-7 without a computer or other sequncer that supports sys-ex and SMF's. Also it doesn't seem that you can send or receive ALL of the patterns, ect at once. So in a live situation, if the 300,000 note capacity wasn't enough, there's no disk drive or memory card that can be used for additional data storage like on a MPC. You need to have another sequncer (computer or hardware) and alot of time on your hands (meanwhile there's no music playing) in order to load more sequences, seemingly one by one. It would be great if there was some kind of usb solution, like a card reader or disk drive, that was recognized by the xx-7's and could be used for saving and restoring data. Perhaps seeing the "e-loader" program would explain some things, but there's only one quick reference to it in the manual, so don't really know what it can do... and you still need a computer to make use of it. I know that the xx-7's are still being developed, so perhaps some of these issues will be addressed later (like the program changes on external gear not working correctly from what I've read in this group). Anybody have any experience with this issue... suggestions, solutions, or opinions? Thanks, Big Ben
