The "wood on the bottom" is just a quick throw together I made to hold my old Proteus 2000 at
an upwards angle so as to better see it and tweak it while it sat atop my keyboard.  It's made
with lo-fi fir, masonite, and plywood.  When I sold the P2K and bought the XL-7, I just turned it
around so that the face was tilted more towards me.  It's all about ergonomics.

     Even with that "tilt", the P2K still never became something that I could easily tweak.  Too
many functions buried too deeply in LCD menu screens.  The XX-7 goes a long way towards remedying
that lack of accessability.

     Yes, cherry will turn darker even out of the sun, though it will take longer.  Cherry is one
of my favorite woods to work with.

what's the XX-7.  

newbie trying to learn as much as possible whilst spending my evenings 
devouring the "tome" that is the xl-7 command station manual.

Generic term for the XL-7 and MP-7.

Simply substitute the xx for the appropriate prefixes.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
