Hey Everybody. I wanted to let you know that we now have a a Groove Sharing Playground for both the XL-7 and the MP-7 at emu.com. I've included their direct links below. I know a few of you sent e-mails directly to me. I've been on vacation for the past two weeks, thus, no reply. http://www.emu.com/products/xl7/grooveshare.html http://www.emu.com/products/mp7/grooveshare.html P2500 and Orbit 3. I think you all figured out what the P2500 is. The two key bullets I believe are USB and the Faster processor (there's more features too, but these are my top two). These are key advantages over the P2K. As our USB technology grows, the USB connection becomes that more important. As XL or MP-7 users you will benefit from this development. Obviously you can see its design is derived from the Xl-7. AS we all know, choice is a good thing, and we have users who like the new features of the 7's but would prefer a rack enclosure with a more bread and butter sound set. The Orbit 3 is based on our P2K platform (128 voices, 6 outputs, 4 ROM sots). It ships with both Rob Pappen ROMS - the New Beat Garden and Techno Synth (64 MB). It will also ship with 2.24 OS, -Beats and Arps. The Techno Synth ROM is available now and the Beat Garden will be Available in November. Get both sets and you have the Orbit 3 sound set. Once again as you know, this product is right up E-MU's formula. We create Modules around key P2K ROMS - World Expedition ROM = Planet Earth Module, Pure Phatt ROM = MO' PHATT Module etc. We like giving you choices, feel your current unit with ROMS or get the dedicated box, which also gives you the additional hardware if desired. Also, as a new owner we give you starting areas based on you interests. BTW, we think the Beat Garden ROM is so good, and then team it up with TSCY, we thought it deserved its own box. sean at e-mu / ensoniq
