Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

It is so easy to create patterns and songs that make sense with -7's on
board sequencer. I do not have this ease of use with my software sequencer,
which on the other hand offers alot more manipulative potential (logic
audio).
Let say I arrange a song from the start to the end on -7, and I'd like to
record its audio, track by track. Then I would be limited to 2(6) audio
outputs of -7, so I would have to record the midi into soft sequencer first,
and then record the audio tracks there.
Is that the way how most of you guys work?

You could export using the loader too.
